Samuel Elkins is owner of Strategic HSE Systems Inc., delivering consulting services to the forestry, energy and transportation industries as well as provincial governments throughout Western Canada. 

He leads the company with 30 years of background in natural resource management, health and safety, and transportation compliance across Canada.

Samuel has held various industry, consulting, and government positions, with extensive experience and training in many aspects of technical, operational, and administrative practices related to the natural resources sector. These include: operations, management systems, sustainable forest management, health and safety, commercial transportation, and greenhouse gas advisory services.

  
He’s a 1994 graduate of the Maritime Forest Ranger School in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and a Registered Professional Forest Technologist through the Association of Alberta Forest Management Professionals.
